Well…the concert was suppose to start at 1:00AM, but again, it didn’t start till 1:30 (I guess cuz people were still gambling). That lady from Taiwan (sorry, don’t know who she is) came out first and sang, like, SO much songs. I was sitting there kept mumbling beneath my breath, “When’s Dicky coming out? I wanna see Dicky.” Plus, she was speaking Mandarin…didn’t understand a thing, lol. Finally, she introduced Dicky (the only thing I know in Mandarin was his name, “Zhang Wei Jian,” LOL!). The very first song he sang was the theme of “Monkey King” (Gow Gow Joi Ha) (though he sang this alone…no Andy Lau, not even a clip of his voice…allll Dicky, hehehe). Dicky ran out in a pink suit…yes PINK suit with a sparkly white collar and a black T-shirt underneath. Then he started to talk to the audience…in Mandarin -_-. Couldn’t understand him at all…but I was already in dream land, so it didn’t matter, LOL. Well, he started to ask the audience would they rather hear him speak Mandarin or Cantonese (yea, THIS I understood). He asked “Who wants to hear me speak Mandarin?” some people started to cheer, but not much. After that, he asked the same about Cantonese, a LOT more people (including me) cheered (yay!). Then he was like, “OK, I guess I have no choice then huh? Well, then I’ll just speak half and half, OK?”

So, then he asked us what kinda song we would like to here. He was saying, “If you want the next song to be slow, clap your hands (I clapped my hands, lol). If you want the next song to be fast, cheer,” (so much more people cheered more then clapped…awww). Then he cracked a joke, “Don’t be so naïve, all the songs were prepared by me already,” and he/the audience started to laugh (wow…this joke is extremely similar to the one he said in the Atlantic City one in 2002).

Then he sang songs like “Jan Jan Ga Ga” (Real Real Fake Fake) and he dedicated his song “Good Health” (Sun Tai Gien Hong) to someone named Eric (I think). He said that Eric helped him a lot when he was with TVB and gave him great advice. During the song, “Jan Jan Ga Ga” he stood right in the front and stuck his left leg up on the speaker, he was fiddling something on the side of his leg and then I heard so many girls screaming in excitement and pointing at his leg. I had no idea what he was doing, since I sat on the right side of the auditorium. Then he put that leg down and stuck his right leg on the same speaker…turns out there were zippers on the side of his leg, he unzipped them and showed off his bare legs!!! By the way, I could see his tight black boxer shorts too! I kinda screamed, “WAH!” (and I think he kinda heard me since he looked and me then smirked, LMAO). Before he sang “Good Health,” he started talking, he said, “There’s a lot of perverted people in this world, I better zip these back up, or my mother would yell at me,” LOL…everyone started to laugh.

I think he sang one more song…forgot what it was (I was in Dreamland OK?!). As he was singing he took his pink suit jacket off and threw it somewhere on the stage, revealing his black T-shirt. After he finished singing whatever, he started to talk again…though can’t really understand, cuz every other Cantonese word is a Mandarin one! He said, “Hey, I said I was gonna speak half and half remember?” LOL. Well, at this point, he goes back in, but before doing so, he joked, “Well, I have to go in now…of course I have to go in, I have to rest you know! Not like I’m being paid much, haha. I’d like to introduce my partner again,” So then that lady comes out to sing :::sigh::: when’s Dicky’s coming back out?

Oh, and another thing, at one point when Dicky was still in the Pink suit, he walked over to the left side (why not the right side for goodness sake?!) and waved to the audience there saying, "Hiiiiiiiiii..." in a cute kiddie voice (LOL!). The audience there copied him and said, "Hi!!!" too. Then Dicky got serious and joked, "What are you saying 'hi' for? Hurry up and take a picture already!" HAHAHA...Dicky's so funny.

After like, SIX songs, Dicky FINALLY came back out…YAY!!! He wore this really handsome black tuxedo…thing is, he wasn’t wearing a shirt inside!!! All I can say is “WOW”! Dicky came running out, singing his song “Tim Mat Yue Yuen Tong” (I think this means “Sweet Sugar” or “Sweet Candy” something like that, lol). There were dancers on stage with him, and he did some dancing too (very good dancer!)!

He continuously sang like, three/four more songs, two of which were not originally sang by him. The first song was very slow, and kinda sad. However, just when the music started to play, Dicky said, "Hold on...my shoe lace's untie, haha," LOL! The audience started to laugh...then he said, "OK, play the music now." It was in Mandarin, and a lone piano accompanied the song. There were blue lights and beams making a sad background. Dicky sang with much emotion…you can totally feel it! Sorry, I don’t know what the title of this song is, nor do I know who the original singer is. The next song is another that’s not his, it’s called “She Don’t Love Me” (Ta Bu Ai Wo), I think Dicky said the original singer was “Hack Ngao” (I think it’s translated to Black Cow, lol). The next song was “San Sim Yuen Jung Sing” (Monastery Bells), he dedicated this song to two people (forgot who they were, I think they’re a married couple with the last name Chen). I think he sang one more song, though I don’t remember what it was (I’m in Dreamland remember?).

He said that it was his last song now, and he had to go. So he went back inside, the audience (including me) screamed, “ENCORE!!! ENCORE!!! ENCORE!!!” Dicky came running back out after a few minutes with a new outfit on. He wore a red jacket and I think the same black pants that went with the tux. Underneath the jacket is the SAME EXACT red and white sequenced turtle neck tank top he wore in the Atlantic City concert!!! I was like, “Cool! You kept it!!!” He sang only ONE song for the encore (awwww!!!) he sang like a lot more in the Atlantic City concert. That last song was originally sang by Leslie Cheung, not Dicky. It was very romantic I guess, Dicky came really close to the audience, (but he didn’t come down like I hoped he would :’( ). He actually walked over to the right side of the stage (the side I sat near) and he walked down, ONTO the speakers! I was like, “be careful!” He didn’t hear me though, oh well…maybe he did and ignored me, eheh. Took many pictures of that ^_^. After he finished singing he said, “This is really my last song, I must go now,” then he really left, :::sniff::: miss him already.

In my opinion, this concert wasn’t at all good…Dicky came out so little!!! That lady sang most of it! They used Dicky’s name to attract people so we can go and watch HER concert! WHY?!?! I came and paid $108 to see DICKY, not WHOEVER SHE is!!! UGH, I didn’t even understand her too. Also, Dicky didn’t come down to the audience to shake hands this time! NOT FAIR!!! I wanted to touch his soft hands again, and couldn’t cuz he never came down! Those stupid people in charge of the thing won’t let him I guess…I know Dicky will never desert his fans like that. This concert was extremely short, it wasn’t fair…I paid 108 bucks (not including the my parent’s tickets…including theirs like more then 300!!! Hey, I was too young, not like I could waltz in the casino without someone over 21 to take me -_-…even though I had my parents with me, they still kicked me out the casino, I had to wait near the arena >_<)…now, what was I saying? Oh, right, :::ahem::: I paid 108 bucks to see a DICKY CONCERT, I ended up seeing the what’s-her-face concert, UGH. This was THE shortest concert EVER. No offence, Dicky was MAJORLY HOT, but I wanted to see more him, less her…plus, the concert only lasted like 1 and a half hours! Mohegan Sun sucks…Atlantic City was better…even though it was just as short, Dicky showed up so MUCH more, and we got the chance to shake hands with him!

Suicide: The Permanent Solution To A Temporary Problem

Ask the 25-year-old who tried to electrocute himself. He lived. But both his arms are gone.

What about jumping? Ask John. He used to be intelligent, with an engaging sense of humor. That was before he leapt from a building. Now, he's brain-damaged and will always need care. He staggers and has seizures. He lives in a fog. But, worst of all, he KNOWS he used to be normal.

What about pills? Ask the 12-year-old with extensive liver damage from an overdose. Have you ever seen anyone die of liver damage? You turn yellow. It's a hard way to go.

What about a gun? Ask the 24-year-old who shot himself in the head. Now he drags one leg, has a useless arm and has no vision or hearing on one side. He lived through his "foolproof" suicide. You might too.

But... Who will clean your blood off the carpet or scrape your brains from the ceiling? Commercial cleaning companies may refuse that job--but SOMEONE has to do it.

Who will have to cut you down from where you hung yourself or identify your bloated body after you've drowned? Your father? Your mother? Your wife? Your son?

The carefully worded "loving" suicide note is of no help. Those who loved you will NEVER completely recover. They'll feel regret and an unending pain.

Suicide is contagious. Look around your family. Look closely at the 4 year old playing with his cars on the rug. Kill yourself tonight, and he may do it ten years from now.

You DO have other choices. There are people who can help you through this crisis. Call a hotline. Call a friend. Call your minister or priest. Call a doctor or hospital. Call the police. They will tell you that there's hope. Maybe you'll find it in the mail tomorrow. Or in a phone call this weekend. But what you're seeking could be just a minute, a month, or a day away.

You say you don't want to be stopped? Still want to do it? -Well, then, I may see you in the psychiatric ward later. And we'll work with whatever you have left.

Remember: Suicide is a permanent solution to a temporary problem.
